I went for a birthday celebration and Tim the Irish Waiter came out with dessert in hand singing Happy Birthday !!! The Little Snail is excellent value even if there is an enormous 'palm tree' sitting in the entrance of the restaurant. It's also not far from Star city - so it's great for that meal before a show !   (See my reviews (6) - October, 2008)

Love this place. Great location near Darling Harbour and the fixed price menu offers great value for money. The service and food are top class. Last time we went the restaurant was full of regulars which is a great sign   (winglee - See my reviews (15) - October, 2008)

What a wonderful meal. The service was excellent - we did not have to ask for water once! Always a good thing as it means your table is being watched and your every want met. The meal was delicious and the portions a good size. Loved the ambience, we enjoyed ourselves immensly and were delighted to pay the bill when we finished. PS...make sure you have desert - exquisite!   (Rorqhual - See my reviews (2) - October, 2008)

i agree that little snail is good value for money with a 3 course dinner only $50 with a pretty good standard. Its funny though how they have palm trees in the restaurant which is meant to be French. My only complaint for the night was that the food took way too long between the courses to serve, the couple next to us actually walked out after the entre   (See my reviews (5) - October, 2008)

I have been meaning to go to The Little Snail for years. I finally got my act together and went along. I only wished I had of gone sooner. The food and service was perfect. We had the 3 course menu, what great value. I plan on going back and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. My partner had the rack of lamb and I the kangaroo fillet both were well presented and left you wanting more. As for the dessert the chocolate mousse and profiteroles are a must for anyone.   (BackToTheFuture - October, 2008)

VERY GOOD.   (September, 2008)

Very relax environment and service is excellent. The main is little bit small in quantity. More greens on the main will be good.   (September, 2008)

"The Little Snail for a dose of French fare with a side of spectacular views...Moving onto main...which was hearty and succulent....And to finish: decadent profiteroles (shared) and crème caramel."
